A New Dawn

After 12 months of construction and years of planning our brand new learning space is nearing completion, with our new Junior School students about to begin their time in this amazing new building.

This amazing learning space sits under a roofline that represents the protective wing of Bunjil the Eagle. The story of Bunjil the Creator comes from Australian Aboriginal mythology and, along with other culturally significant architectural and landscape features, will feature prominently through the educational journey of our students.

Also represented in our new building will be references to four of the most famous aviators in Australian history, and whose names adorn the houses our students represent. Charles Kingsford-Smith, Harry Hawker, Bert Hinkler and Reverend John Flynn all carved out a significant place in Australian aviation history, and as our school sits on the boundary of Moorabbin Airport we celebrate these achievements through our history and our future.
